Seven new destinations and increased frequency at Airport Weeze (autor: Ryanair)

Growth at Niederrhein:

Dublin, 29 February 2012: Ryanair, Europe’s favourite low-cost airline, announces strong growth for its Niederrhein Base in Düsseldorf (Weeze)* today. From mid May the Irish airline extends its offer of holiday destinations considerably with seven new connections for the 2012 summer flight schedule. In addition Ryanair also increases the frequency of 10 further routes to popular destinations such as Barcelona-Girona, Barcelona-Reus, Madrid, Porto, Faro, Alicante, Palma de Mallorca and Stockholm- Skavsta.

New to the flight schedule is from 15th May 2012 among others Bilbao, situated in the North of Spain, with flights leaving Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. From 18th May 2012 onwards, Ryanair will also fly to Jerez de la Frontera in Andalusia, Spain. Flights leave every Monday and Friday. Fans of the Balearic Islands will also be happy to hear of a new holiday destination: from 16th May 2012 the Irish airline will fly to Mahón, the capital of the island of Menorca. Friends of Italy can look forward to another new destination in the Ryanair flight schedule from Airport Weeze. Starting from 15th May 2012 Ryanair will fly to Pescara, the capital of the Abruzzo Region every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Also from 15th May, supporters of the Greek culture can fly to Chania, the picturesque port city, with flights leaving every Tuesday and Friday. Moreover, passengers leaving from Niederrhein can also travel to Thessaloniki on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. And the late-summer can be enjoyed by Ryanair passengers from Düsseldorf-Weeze in the polish capital. From 2nd September 2012 Warsaw can be reached via the airport of Modlin, with flights leaving Niederrhein on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

In May Cologne-Bonn will be added to the list as 10th airport serviced by Ryanair.
